Genie couldn’t think of any landmarks out in the water, and land was probably too far away for a beginner. “How about we race around the island? I, uh, have to return the boat anyway.”
“Sounds good! I should get use to these fins’ anyways…” Megan gave her newly found friend a smile. “Oh, I’m sure you’ll win–I’ve never been the athletic type even without fins…” A small giggle escaped her lips. Megan made her way to the boat, looking back she waited for Genie to join her.
