Her grin faltered a bit. ”Ah - the ‘we’ thing.. It’s difficult to explain. But it’s actually fairly lucky that we came across you, Dr. Reed. We wanted to know some… well, some advanced information on augments, more than the pamphlets and literature can dish out.”
She gave a mild shake of her head. ”We don’t have to discuss that matter now, Dr. Reed, but we would like to know if you’re available for a discussion of that nature? Nothing too confidential, of course.”
“That’s alright…though, I’m still curious about the whole ’we’ thing. Perhaps you can explain later?” Megan gave her a smile.
Megan was actually quite flattered that someone came to her for knowledge of augmentations. Crossing her arms “Yes, of course I’d love to.” Megan spoke as she kept her arms crossed “Unfortunately I can only discuss our civilian models–military augments are, well, kept behind closed doors…hopefully you understand…” Megan gave a slight nod.
“I may even be able to show you a few of the labs,” Now turning her heel Megan started to walk down the hall to her office “we can talk in my office if that’s alright,” she spoke as she paused her steps and looked back at Malady.
